I am a belly dance performer and instructor first, and a vendor second. But the up-start costs of running a complete vending business from home is out of reach at the moment. As I want to share the art of belly dance with the world, I have decided to open shop anyways.
Most products listed on this site (at this time) are from other merchants around the world. If you buy these products, I get a commission (ranging from 4% to about 10% [if I get really lucky]). Commission goes directly toward buying new products so that I may someday run my very own shop with all my own products. Additionally, commission goes toward getting myself and my husband out of debt (which we have a lot of).
Additionally, I will, from time to time, display advertisements for some very nice folks who give me a fee for a month of display with pretty pictures and a link back to their websites. Along those same lines, I offer site and product reviews for a smaller fee on a case-by-case basis. I only display products and website that offer seemingly quality products and which seem tasteful and safe to use. I’m not in it for the money – I’m in it to cover my costs, which are rather high right now.
If I choose to, I may, in the future, discontinue these services, should I begin making a lot of money from my vending and dancing. For now, however, this is just how it will have to be. I hope you’ll choose to stick around anyways.
